Public Relations

Gresik — Saturday, May 2, 2026 was a meaningful day for Muhammadiyah students. Two student organizations from SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Babat Lamongan (Muhiba) and SMA Muhammadiyah 10 GKB Gresik (Smamio) united in a comparative study activity that took place warmly and inspiringly. More than just a visit, this moment became a space to exchange ideas while strengthening the brotherhood between students.
Since morning, the atmosphere of togetherness was thick. The activity began with a Fun Match on the SMAMIO sports field which brought a spirit of healthy competition. The futsal match between Ipmawan was fierce until finally won by the PR IPM Smamio team. No less exciting, the Ipmawati volleyball match was filled with cheers, with the victory achieved by PR IPM Muhiba. The excitement peaked through various fun games involving all participants, creating unforgettable moments of togetherness.
Entering the main agenda, the activity continued at the SMAMIO Cordoba Convention Hall with an insightful comparative study session. Each branch leader presented their management structure and flagship work programs. This session became a forum for sharing experiences that opened new perspectives in running a student organization more effectively and innovatively.
The discussion was then deepened through a forum per field between PR IPM Smamio and PR IPM Muhiba. Each division had a direct dialogue with similar fields from other schools, exchanging ideas, strategies, and solutions to various organizational challenges. The discussion atmosphere was active and full of enthusiasm, reflecting a strong collaborative spirit among the participants.
In the interview session, the Chairperson of IPM Smamio, Khatarisma Indah, expressed her hope that this activity would be the beginning of a sustainable relationship. She emphasized the importance of building solid communication between administrators, not just a momentary meeting.
“Hopefully this will be a bridge to get to know our fellow students better. I want this relationship to continue and develop into a strong communication network. There is nothing more powerful, we complement each other with new knowledge,” she said.
Through this activity, IPM Smamio and IPM Muhiba emphasized that collaboration is the key to building a progressive student organization. This comparative study is expected to be the first step in a synergy that continues to grow, as well as inspire other Muhammadiyah students to move forward together in the spirit of togetherness.
