FACR 2025/2026: A Place for the Birth of High-Achieving Young Researchers, 11 Top Teams to Impress in the Final Round on June 19, 2026

Gresik - The spirit of innovation and creativity filled the Granada Meeting Room when the Final Assessment Class Research (FACR) 2025/2026 of SMA Muhammadiyah 10 GKB Gresik was held with great enthusiasm. Carrying the theme “Exploring Ideas, Creating Impact”, this activity became a stage for young researchers to show their best work while proving that simple ideas can become solutions with big impacts.
After going through a rigorous selection process, 11 best teams successfully advanced to the final round. Each team presented research that was unique, innovative, and close to problems around the community. From environmental issues, health, to the use of technology, the finalists demonstrated extraordinary abilities in turning curiosity into valuable scientific work.
Since morning, the atmosphere of the venue was filled with enthusiasm. The participants seemed busy making final preparations, starting from arranging presentation media, checking research data, to practicing presenting their research results. Behind the finalists' smiles, there was enthusiasm and long struggles that they had gone through for months.
Each presentation presented an interesting story. The participants not only conveyed data and research results, but also showed how an idea can develop into an innovation that provides real benefits. The jury actively explored the topic through various challenging questions, making the competition atmosphere feel more lively and inspiring.
The Research Coordinator of Muhammadiyah 10 GKB Gresik High School, Nanik Rahmawati F., M.Si, expressed her pride in all participants who have shown high dedication in research activities.
“FACR is not just about finding winners, but about the learning process that shapes students’ character into critical, creative individuals who are brave in expressing their ideas. I hope this experience can be the first step for students to continue to love the world of research and contribute through their innovations. Hopefully, this enthusiasm for research will continue to grow and bring wider benefits in the future,” said Nanik Rahmawati F., M.Sc.
Behind their confident appearance, the finalists also felt their own challenges when standing in front of the jury. This was felt by *Marcellino Ridho G, a student of *XI 3 IPA, who admitted that he was overcome with nervousness before starting the presentation.
“At first, I was really nervous because I had to explain the results of the research in front of the jury. It felt like all the preparations I had made so far were being tested in a few minutes. But after starting to speak and seeing the positive response, I became calmer. This experience was very valuable because it trained courage, self-confidence, and the ability to convey ideas well,” said Marcellino.
More than just a competition, FACR is a real proof of SMA Muhammadiyah 10 GKB Gresik's commitment to fostering research culture among students. This activity encourages participants to dare to ask questions, find solutions, and present innovations that are relevant to the needs of the times.
The cheers of support from teachers, friends, and mentors further added to the excitement of the final atmosphere. Each team appeared with its own character and strengths, making FACR an event that is not only competitive, but also full of inspiration.
With the end of the presentation session from the 11 finalist teams, one thing has certainly been achieved: the birth of a young generation who dares to think, work, and make a positive impact through research. FACR 2025/2026 once again proves that big ideas often start from simple curiosity.
